Refund/Return/Exchange Policy

We at Dekho Local are committed to providing our customers with a satisfactory shopping experience. Please read our refund policy to understand how refunds are processed in various scenarios.Returns, refunds, and exchanges are limited to a period of 2 Bussiness days from the date of delivery. Payments to vendors for completed orders will be processed within 48 hours after the end of the return/refund/exchange period. Any deviation from this policy may be decided by the admin on a case-by-case basis. Return, refund, or exchange requests must be supported by valid reasons and approved by the admin. Refund will be paid in to customer wallet of Dekho Local.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refunds are applicable within a period of 2 days from the date of delivery.
  • To be eligible for a refund, the product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

2. Process for Requesting a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer support team within the specified refund period.
  2. Provide details of the order, including order number, product details, and reason for refund request.
  3. Our customer support team will review your request and may require additional information.
  4. If your refund request is approved, you will be provided with further instructions.

3. Refund Approval and Processing

Refunds will be considered in the following cases:

2     Product does not match the description on the plat...        
3     Not Suitable for Use    
4     Item is Broken

Upon approval of your refund request, the following steps will be taken:

  1. The refund amount will be credited to the Customer wallet of Dekho Local.
  2. The refund process may take up to 2 business days, depending on the payment gateway and bank processing times.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email/ Messages/Notification once the refund is processed.

4. Delayed Refunds

If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, please follow these steps:

  1. Check your Customer Wallet Of Dekho Local statement to confirm if the refund has been processed.
  2. If you've completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact our customer support team.

5. Product Types and Return/Exchange Eligibility

- Perishable Goods: Return/exchange policy does not apply. Refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Fragile Items: Vendors and delivery personnel are responsible for safely delivering fragile items. Any damages incurred during delivery will be investigated and actions taken accordingly.
- Hazardous Items: Vendors are prohibited from listing or delivering hazardous items.
- Single-Use/Furniture Products: Generally not eligible for return/exchange/refund. Admin discretion may apply.

Other list which are not applicable for return/refund/exchange are 

  1. Perishable Food Items:

    • Fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and other perishable food items that have a limited shelf life.
  2. Personal Care and Hygiene Products:

    • Products that come in direct contact with the body, such as cosmetics, skincare items, and grooming products.
  3. Intimate Apparel:

    • Undergarments, swimwear, and other intimate clothing items due to hygiene reasons.
  4. Customized or Personalized Items:

    • Products that have been customized or personalized based on customer specifications.
  5. Digital Downloads:

    • Digital products such as e-books, software, and downloadable content.
  6. Opened or Used Items:

    • Items that have been opened, used, or assembled, especially if they can't be resold as new.
  7. Hazardous Materials:

    • Products classified as hazardous materials or containing flammable, toxic, or dangerous substances.
  8. Health and Medical Products:

    • Prescription medications, medical devices, and health-related products.
  9. Hygiene Products:

    • Products like toothbrushes, razors, and personal hygiene items that have been used.
  10. Perfumes and Fragrances:

    • Fragrance products that have been opened or used.
  11. Event Tickets:

    • Tickets for events, concerts, and shows.
  12. Final Sale Items:

    • Items explicitly marked as "final sale" or sold as clearance product.
